Questions people ask
What is the difference between leadership training and coaching?
Training builds shared skills and language across a group. Coaching works one to one on an individual's specific challenges. Many organisations use both: a programme for the whole team and coaching for leaders who need private support.
How long should a leadership programme be?
It depends on the goal. A focused workshop can work for one skill, such as leading through change. Lasting behaviour change usually needs several sessions spread over weeks. I recommend a format after understanding your team.
Can leadership training be run in-house?
Yes. In-house delivery lets me use your real situations and keeps the whole team in the same room. I can also run sessions at an offsite or a venue of your choice.
Who should attend leadership training?
Anyone who leads people, from first-time managers to the executive team. For mixed levels I usually separate senior and emerging leaders so both can speak openly.
Is leadership training HRD Corp claimable?
I am a Registered Training Provider with HRD Corp. Whether a specific programme is claimable depends on your company's HRD Corp registration and levy balance, and on HRD Corp's approval of the programme. Contact me and we will confirm for your situation.
